Fireplace (2024) was created for Ablaze! Liquid Terrain, a duo exhibition with Sabrina Blanchard at ArcHive in Victoria, BC.
Teresa collected this fireplace from the roadside and repurposed it with materials from her Grandma’s art supplies. The work is in memory of the Elders who have come before us and the warmth they bring to us.
