Horse Power (2021) was exhibited in On Beaded Ground in 2021 at the Legacy Art Galleries in Victoria, BC.
Horse Power is an experimental piece using horse hair. I had access to horse hair and wanted to see how I could incorporate it into my series of beaded hubcaps. The horse hair is emphasized by the beads mimicking it’s use.
Materials: Found hubcap, horse hair, seed beads, melton, wire, pendant cone, nylon thread, adhesive
