Puzzle Pieces (2018) was created for A Study of Cloth and Beads which exhibited at the Yukon Arts Centre’s Community Gallery.
“I was living in Squamish, BC when I created this work. I find standing and beading easier than sitting down. The only thing that was at a good height for me was an ironing board. The pattern on the ironing board inspired the scale-like patterns I created in blue.”
Materials: delica beads, seed beads, cotton fabric, satin fabric, cotton thread, new frame
